The new Edinburgh Library of Thing’s first donation drive is happening on Saturday 26th July 12pm-4pm at Edinburgh Tool Library Meadowbank Library!

They’re excited to meet passionate library fans in person and to start building their collection of items. You can look at their comprehensive list of desired items here.

They would appreciate you taking any items you’d like to donate to the library -just pop by anytime between 12 and 4pm.

Just some extra things you should know:

• They will not be accepting broken items. Unfortunately, they don’t currently have the capacity to fix broken items. You could get your item fixed at The Remakery or The Repair Cafe and then donate them

• They are mainly asking for items on their wishlist. If you have things that aren’t on the list that you want to donate, then please email them before hand with pictures and a description of the item. You can also bring it to the event without letting them know, but please know it isn’t guaranteed they will take them.

• They cannot guarantee they  will take things you bring, even if they are on our their wishlist. Circumstances may change depending on what other people bring.
